
Annette O'Toole was raised in Houston the state of Texas. She attended the dance studio of her mother. at the age of two, she first appeared on television as a child as a child on The Don Mahoney Show for Kids. In the year 13 and had ten years worth of singing and dancing classes to her credit, she along with her mother traveled for a trip to L.A. for a year to determine if she would make it in the show business. She landed her first job as a professional performer in just two months: Danny Kaye's The Danny Kaye Show. "I've used my training in dancing and singing to a great extent," she says. The discipline you get from it is a huge benefit for an actor." O'Toole's debut acting gig was in My Three Sons, followed by roles in Gunsmoke, The Partridge Family, The Mod Squad, and Hawaii Five-O. O'Toole is a regular on more than 40 TV shows. Despite her fame in films and TV she is a theater enthusiast. Following her time on Smallville She decided to focus on theater and acting, which she'd been doing over the last decade. First auditions for a show in New York led her to be chosen to play The Sea Gull. She's been in numerous off-Broadway shows, including Adam Rapp's Kindness, and Tracy Letts' Man from Nebraska.
